Building on PCCA’s passion for continuing education, PCCA Institute provides high-quality compounding training to pharmacy students around the country. Our goal is to inform future pharmacists about compounding opportunities and how to meet unique patient needs.

Our Courses

Our courses are designed for pharmacy students with varying backgrounds and levels of interest in compounding.

  • The Introductory Compounding Boot Camp is a great starting point for pharmacy students looking for hands-on training or a review of dosage forms and compounding techniques.
  • The online Fundamentals of Compounding and Veterinary Compounding courses take a deeper look into various fields of compounding. The Advanced and Veterinary lab components provide additional technique and lab training beyond our Introductory Compounding Boot Camp. Please note that the Boot Camp is a prerequisite for both the Advanced and Veterinary Compounding labs.

Current enrollment in a college of pharmacy is a prerequisite

Our two-day compounding lab introduces students to the basics of compounding and unique patient cases. Students will complete several dosage forms such as lollipops, lip balms, troches, and many other dosage forms as they interact with students from all over the country in our state of the art compounding training lab.
